1. Product Overview

PA12 (Polyamide 12) is a high-performance thermoplastic engineering material synthesized from laurolactam via ring-opening polymerization. Compared to traditional nylons such as PA6 and PA66, PA12 offers very low moisture absorption, excellent dimensional stability, superior low-temperature toughness, and outstanding chemical resistance.

Our PA12 pellets are produced using high-purity raw materials and twin-screw extrusion. We offer a range of formulations including virgin PA12, glass fiber-reinforced PA12, flame-retardant types, antistatic/conductive grades, and UV/weather-resistant modifications.

Note: Data above are for base PA12. Modified grades may vary in performance.

3. Processing Recommendations

• Drying Conditions: 80–90°C for 4+ hours (recommended for optimal results)

• Injection Molding Temperature: 190–240°C (depending on grade)

• Mold Temperature: 50–80°C (higher mold temp improves surface finish)

• Packaging: Moisture-proof 25kg bags or jumbo bags. Nitrogen-sealed packing available on request.
