Analysis Of The Causes Of Air Conditioner Water Leak(2)

The main components of most air conditioners today are indoor units and outdoor units, but sometimes there may be water leak in the air conditioner for some reason, so why does the air conditioner leak water? What should we do if the air conditioner leaks water?



Dredging methods for air-conditioning hang-up drain pipe: 


The poor drainage appears due to aging relaxation or bending into a wave shape.


Method 1: Firstly, turn off the power supply, open the front panel and the partition with a screwdriver to expose the condenser and the drain. Secondly, use a mineral water bottle with filling water to flush the drain pipe along the sink and rinse it several times to see if it can be dredged. If it doesn't work, use a thin wire to slowly dredge it, pry out the blockage, and rinse it with water until it drains unobstructed. Finally, install the partitions and panels in the order of removal.


Method 2: First, fill the air-conditioner drip pan with water, then take a new drain pipe to the inner machine outlet, and use mouth to blow a few times. The dirty things will flow away with the water, you can also pour more water and blow it a few times. This is safer than using wire.


Method 3: If you do not have a drain pipe and you can't find a suitable thing to blow, you can also blow the drain pipe from the outside to the inside after the drip pan filling with water, and blow the drain pipe of the original machine. A part of dirty things will fly out, the remaining adhesion is small, clear the fan coil water tray and then pour some water to wash it.



Other reasons analysis and solutions for air conditional water leakage


1) Embedded indoor unit water leakage.

2) Poor water level switch.

3) The drain pump motor is broken.

4) The drain plug at the bottom of the indoor unit is not installed well.

5) The drain pipe is vertically upwards greater than 200 mm.

6) The air conditioner is not turned on, but water leaks from the air conditioning hole in the wall.

7) When the cabinet air conditioner is in use, it is placed in an uneven position, and its drain pipe is serpentinely distributed, so that siphon phenomenon is liable to occur, which makes the air conditioner condensate cannot be discharged.

8) The condensed dripping pan has too much ash and the drain hole is blocked. 

Solutions: Clean the drip pan to make the drain hole unobstructed.

9) Heat exchanger dripping: The temperature of the heat exchanger is uneven due to the heat exchanger being contaminated with dust, and water droplets are generated in the middle of the heat exchanger, and water droplets falling outside the drip pan will drip into the room.


Solutions:

a. The installation drainage angle is not well treated. The drainage pipe bend cannot be less than or close to 90 degrees, and there should not be too much bending. The drainage pipe should be made of PVC pipe material. The embedded internal machine is not installed horizontally, and the indoor unit level should be readjusted;


b. The water level switch is bad (the water level switch is not reset), replace the water level switch;


c. The drain pump is broken (the motor coil is open, the motor is not running), replace the drain pump motor;


d. Reinstall the drain plug;


e. The vertical direction of the drain pipe is greater than 200MM, causing the water to flow back too much when the pump stops running. The vertical distance should be less than 200MM;


f. If it is a centralized drainage well, the water flowing down from the air conditioner flows back to the lower air conditioning hole, it can only re-punctured, or the upper air conditioner is temporarily turned off.
